Yesterday was busy! First thing on the list, the Farmer's Market. This is not so much a 'farmer's' market as it is a 'whoever has access to cheap produce and wants to make money' market. We have heard that some vendors sell food from Safeway and we suspect that a couple of people bring food from the mexican store. Also, many vendors have signs or websites that say 'organic,' but only two of the vendors are actually certified organic. Oh, well. It is basically just a place for the Downtown Yuppies to hang out. We buy a lot of our produce there (from the organic farmers, of course). It tastes WAY better than anything we buy at the Supermarket and we are supporting slow, local foods.

Second, we rushed to The Little Gym. It was Maia's first day of class. Truthfully, this place is a rip off, ~$18/class! However, it provides social interaction for Maia and a place for her to run around once it starts snowing. And man, did she run! And climb! And hang! And balance!

Third, we spent an hour and a half trying to get Maia to go down for her nap. She never did, so we put her in the car seat to go to the fair, and she was out within 5 min.

Fourth, we (Ben, Ashley, Ben's parents, and Maia) arrived at Utah's State Fair. We put Maia in the stroller where she continued sleeping for awhile. Then, we looked at animals. Amazingly enough, she was more interested in the honey bees and first place produce.

Fifth, we were off to dinner. We decided to go to the Greek Festival to eat. We parked and payed our $3/person to get in. And then, we saw the line.... It was so long we could not see the end of it. We got our money back, plus $4 for some reason and headed to Desert Edge for dinner instead. It was great!

What a day!
