Maia got very sick on Friday. She had diahrea almost every two hours for twelve hours! Poor little girl!!! Before we knew how sick she was, we took her to dinner. She ate a little sandwich and soup. After we got in the car, she looked VERY sick! We decided that we had better stop at Smith's for some tea, popcicles, juice, etc. to keep her hydrated. She really wanted to come into the store, so Ashley carried her in and quickly grabbed the essentials. They were walking to the checkout when all of the sudden Ashley heard a sound and thought to herself, "what did Maia drop?" It turned out to be vomit, followed by more vomit and a little more vomit! It covered at least a two foot by one foot area and some of Ashley! The people there were very nice about it, but it was still a little embarrassing. We left quickly with Maia in tow. She really didn't want to get back into the car, so Ashley carried her home (probably better not to make the car smell like vomit). All the while, Maia kept saying, "feeling better." It was quite an experience!
Even though she was sick most of the night, we dragged her to the Farmer's Market since this would be the last time Ashley will be able to go before it closes. We bought a lot of veggies and fruits that Ashley, for the first time ever, properly froze for the winter. We hope to enjoy some fresh food when the ground is frozen.
