Sunday, we went hiking up to Cecret Lake. Albion Basin was beautiful!! The area was covered in blooming wildflowers. Maia hiked 95% of the way and learned a lot about trail etiquette. We couldn't keep her out of the water, though. She jumped in to her waste!
This little guy was trying to steal crackers from our pack. Sad thing is, he actually go some when we had our heads turned!!
There were many tiger salamander tadpoles in the lake. One even came right up to Maia's finger!
Akai really enjoyed stretching his legs.
Sunday night, we invited everyone over to dinner. Rick's Birthday was the next day so we made an extra special cake for him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RICK!! Unfortunately, the gift that we had purchased from Iceland was stuck in New York customs. He eventually got it. There must be something suspicious about bulletproof pocket squares!
