Well, she's allergic. Maia that is. Allergic to peanuts of all things! We took her to Dr. Gourley (Ashley's Beloved Allergist for years) and he confirmed it with a prick test on her back. Luckily, she was not allergic to any of the other nuts we tested her for. Now, we just have to find out how allergic she is. We took her to the University of Utah Hospital to get her blood drawn and we have not heard back on the results.



It was interesting going to a resaurant with the new allergies. We went to Chili's and Ashley wanted to give Maia some food there. She ordered dry salmon and steamed broccoli and asked the wiatress to make sure there were no peanuts or peanut oil added to the meal. Well, the manager came over and talked with me about how they would prepare the food, ect. even though they only use vegetable oil. It is quite different than telling them that you cannot have any dairy!

At the beginning of the month, Nick, Chasity, and their baby, Corbin, came to Utah for a visit. (They are from Illinios). We had a wonderful time with them and saw them almost every night that they were here. We sure wish that they live near us!
