We got evacuated on Friday. It was like a day from hell for Ashley. She waited around for her boss for about three hours until someone said that he left for the day. When she finally left she got stuck in Foothill traffic. Assuming it was only an accident she tried to be patient. Well, it was an accident. A propane tank hit into the side of the sound wall on the freeway and propane spilled everywhere!
This was less than a mile from our house. Therefore, it took a long time for Ashley to get home. Two hours in fact! When she finally got close to home, she stopped for gas. There were five fire trucks and HAZMAT in the parking lot, but the station was not closed for some reason.
We decided to spend the night at Ashley's parents house in Sandy, far from the potential explosion area. They were not home because they were at a Birthday Suprise Dinner for Joan's 50th Birthday. Ashley organized most of this and was stressed that she couldn't go to the restaurant beforehand. Oh, well!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOAN & KENNY!
