Christmas

We cannot believe that we have not yet written about Christmas!

Christmas Eve we flew, Maia and Ashley in first class, to San Diego. We stayed with our relatives (thanks Matt and Jennifer)and had a wonderful time! Maia really enjoyed playing with cousins, Becca and Mitch, and a certain 'cute baby lizard' which found its way to our home.

One other bonus was that Nate and Stacy (Ashley's sister and husband) were in Coronado at the time. It was fun exploring the haunted hotel and eating the 2nd best salad of Ashley's life!

We also visited Sea World while we were there. Maia loved the 'Shamu! Shamu!' show, but was a little afraid to touch the dolphins! Kenny had fun eating, he got the all you can eat pass. When we went to the shark exhibit, Maia asked Ben to "buy one." He bought her a stuffed shark instead. She also really liked watching the manatees with Mommy and just hanging out with Grandma.

Once we got home, we continued to spend a lot of time with family, especially Stacy and Nate, who had fun embarrassing themselves with SingStar. (Actually, Stacy is a pretty good singer. She is really good singing Slim Shady. It must be from all that singing she would do alone in her room when she was a kid). We also had a Murder Mystery party with Ashley's family and Jennie and Casey. It was a total blast!!! I don't know who was more into it, Tyler or Joan. They played the parts of jigilo and rich x-wife to the T! Do you guys have something to tell us?
