Do you recognize the overalls? The used to be Maia's. She had a similar look when we took a picture of her.
Maia's Birthday Blast
Maia woke up on February 15th to a stack of presents. She was not to sure she wanted to open them at first, but they began to look more attractive. She had to wait for Ashley to hurry and make muffins, though, because of a planned power outage later in the day. She got a pink, pedal-less Strider bike, a beautiful new dance dress, some work books, a Calico Critters treehouse, and a kitty dress. Next, Papa Jake and Grandma Lois came over with gifts and we blew out candles on her Ballet Kitty cake and went out to lunch. (See this the Ballet Kitty book that Maia has at this link: http://www.amazon.com/Ballet-Kitty-Bernette-Ford/dp/190541756X Ben did an awesome jobe replicating the cat with angel food and whipping cream)! Maia had previously asked to spend the time alone with Mommy and Daddy and she spent most of this sleeping. We had planned to take her ice skating, but she fell asleep in the car after dropping off Akai at Nana's. We did take her to The Melting Pot for dipping fun. She was not so interested, but we sure had fun with the chocolate! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAIA!!!
We usually go outside for a walk everyday. On this particular day, Akai was a bit tired and fell asleep as I was getting him ready to go. He looked so cute that I could not resist taking a picture! What a little sleeper!!
Reminds me of HERMIT--Maia has been saying, "CRAB!" after she has gas out either end.
