Dancing and a Graduation

Maia had her second dance performance. She did not dance, just sat in her corner and stretched a bit. She did not cry this time, though. Most parents would see her lack of dancing as a huge waste of money. We see how much she learns from that class every week when she practices at home. She is what we call an observational learner. Who knows what else she is picking up? She watches everything intently. Maia could tell you who is shy, who listens to the teacher, who is mean, what is on the walls, how the instructor organizes the class, and more. As Ben points out, she will be a remarkable student in the traditional class setting—watching, learning, and applying the principles at home.
Maia always has a lot of supporters besides her parents. Popsie, Grandma, and Auntie Stacy were there with us too! Thanks for coming, guys!!

Ashley's cousin, Julia, graduated from medical school. CONGRATULATIONS, JULIA!

Gotta love those pictures! I am glad I was there for some of those events. When will the museum be done?
