Aunt Jennie flew in to visit last weekend. We were so excited to see her and had loads of activities planned.

No pics :(, but had so much fun riding the Alpine slide, racing down the zipline, bouncing and flipping, riding the gondola and seeing the amazing view, and eating no mushroom pizza.
Maia even got to have a sleepover with Jennie!
Saturday morning at The Farmers Market
Ate Bruge's waffles and had an interesting conversation with a homeless man about our 'Rat killin Jack Demsie's.'

Ate another fabulous dinner made by Lois and Kenny. It's wonderful spending time with everyone!

Sunday afternoon and evening at The Chan's
Partying with the Chan family is like being in the movie My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding. It is super loud, there is lots of food (so much that you eat ALL day), and lots of people.
Catherine and Lois cooked amazing food. Dennis and Connie taught Maia more mandarin. Burton, Leo, and Kenny taught Ashley how to play Majong without taking all her money. We listened to family history and politics from a drunk and red-faced Burton. We had ice cream cake for Jennie. And, somehow Akai napped through all of the noise! The party went on from 11 to 10, almost 12 hours! It was such fun and we are so lucky to have such a great family!
