Busy Bees

We have been very busy lately. Here are some of the things that have kept us going, going, going....

Ben and Ashley have received more responsibilities at work (unfortunately, without pay). This is creating long working hours. Luckily, we have the best moms in the world who watch Maia during those extra hours. Thank you so much, Mom!!!

Ben has also been working tirelessly on other projects. He helped design and build two terrariums for the Utah Natural History Museum's Frog Exhibit. The look exquisite! He is also writing a grant with several other people to get funding for treating chronic sinusitus with phage therapy. We hope that he gets it.

We painted the house with the help of Papa Jake two weeks ago. He was amazing in showing up and working when Ben and I were not there! We still have to paint the trim (we could not due to inclimate weather), so we will update you with the finished photo later.

Finally, we have been running errands and trying to squeeze a little fun in there. Some fun: Ashley took Maia sledding last Sunday. She was having more fun falling face first into the snow to make Maia prints! We went out to a great sushi lunch and to the park with some friends (Brenden, Ruth, and Alex). We went to dinner and played games with some other friends (Ryan and Meryl). We have been having great fun hanging out with Jennie (she lives so close now, yay) and the rest of the Chan family. We celebrated Dennis Chan's wedding. We have been going to the Little Gym where Maia can walk on the high beam all by herself! We have been playing outside with Kona.

Man, that is a lot of fun...and work! Now it is time for a break, isn't it???

Bzzzz,
B,A,M, & K
