Easter

We had perfect weather for a very nice Easter. We started it off by hiding many eggs around the house and yard with bunny crackers, animals, and money. Maia had a lot of fun finding them!

Then, we went to a delicious brunch with our friends Andrew, Theresa, Addie, Brenden, Ruth, and Alex. We really enjoyed their company, and the kids were especially happy after eating when they were allowed to run around outside.

That is until Maia tackled Alex.

Once we came home, we spent a few hours outside in the gorgeous weather doing yardwork and grilling steaks. We had a great time moving and planting new flowers and eating some delicious dinner!

Yesterday, we went to East Millcreek Easter Egg Hunt. Maia sat next to an egg, but never actually put it into her basket. Luckily, she has a good friend like Addie who shared her eggs. Thanks, Addie!! We then played at the playground and ate breakfast at Cafe de Normandie (Ashley had eggs benedict on biscuits). Later on in the evening, we had our friend over to sing Abba on PS3 SingStar. We love Abba!

The day previous (Friday) Ashley and Maia got to spend the day together. The best part of the day (besides when Babe came home) was going to Sugarhouse Park where we fed the ducks and went to two different playgrounds! It was quite a trek and Ashley was so proud of Maia for doing it all with her panties on. She has been wearing panties for about a week and has had few accidents! What a big girl!!! Later in the day we took Maia to Cookie Cutter's to get her hair cut. She was a little nervous and had to sit on Mama's lap, but did not want to leave when it was over.
