We went hiking twice. Maia got a little tired, but really enjoyed collecting creepy crawlies!
We went clothes shopping, which we rarely do because it is not very fun, but we had some fun this time. Maia needed to go to the potty so Ben took her unfortunately a little too late. We did not have a spare diaper or panties and the diaper dispenser in the men's and women's room was out of order. Ben decided to look elsewhere and left Maia with Ashley at Macy's. While he was gone, Maia was holding up different shirts in front of the mirror. All of a sudden, she booked it with one of the shirts. Ashley started to take off after her, but realized that her purse was sitting there with the debit card on the top. She ran back to get it and proceeded to chase Maia who had just ran out the door and set off the alarm! When Ashley got to her, she was sitting there with the shirt giggling her head off. Ashley tried to discipline her, but couldn't help laughing too. Not one person came over to the door to look for the shoplifter. However, that didn't keep Ashley from leaving the store shortly after Ben arrived with the new diaper. What a fiasco!
Finally, we enjoyed the company of some of our dearest friends, Lance, Vicki, Kimberlynn, and Kristen. Lance and Vicki made a fantastic dinner at their home for us! Thank you for having us over! It was wonderful to see all of you!
