This afternoon, a costume magazine came in the mail. Looking through it inspired Maia to make her own costume. Batgirl spent the afternoon solving kidnapping cases by The Evil Dr. X. Ben left clues all over for her that led her to the victim and Dr. X was imprisoned.

Earlier this week, we spent our now 4 year tradition in the Canyons at Park City. This year Rick and Joan joined us and we had a lot of playing with them. In fact, we had so much fun that while we were swimming, Maia claimed that it was 'the most fun (she) had in two weeks!' All the kids at the pool really enjoyed swimming around Ashley and giving her 'special deliveries.' Akai really loved the parade. He would yell, 'Hello, Mister!' and wave to nearly everyone who passed. He especially enjoyed the local football players giving him five as they went by. Unfortunately, we did not see any fireworks, which was a smart move by the Park City Counsel. There was a fire just over the mountain in Alpine that was started by fireworks on the 3rd, not to mention 10-12 other fires around Utah. On the 4th, we watched them on TV. We never knew that fireworks (and show) were broadcast from DC. It looks like the fireworks there are completely amazing! It made us wonder if Tyler and family were watching the same ones.
