Today was very rainy...perhaps even the start of the rainy season. We can say perhaps because there's no set date
of when it starts. Anyway, it was was very stormy with more wind and rain than when we were dealing with the remnants
of hurricane Kenneth. There was so much rain that you couldn't even see the mountains 3 miles away and you could barely
see three blocks in that direction!

Ashley had two birthday parties today and Ben did a LOT of work programming. It's really easy
to hammer out a lot of code when you don't have a car and you are forced to stay inside with the computer!

Right now, as we're typing this, the rain is coming in through the windows and the wind was blowing so hard that it tipped
our fan over! The fan was on and it is a pretty big fan so the wind must have been blowing stronger than the fan plus
enough strength to blow the relatively heavy fan over...it was weird too, because the wind was changing directions constantly!

Our first winter in Hawai'i is starting (alright, maybe our first autumn...) and we're having a blast,
