missing much anyway. We had planned to go snorkeling at Sharks Cove but the water was too choppy and we didn't really
want to get smashed onto the rocks like we did our first week here at Hanauma Bay. We had fun anyway, at Waimea Beach
Park! The water there is brackish because there is a large freshwater stream that enters the ocean right at the beach. It
was pretty fun though, and it was very nice to get back to the beach.
After the beach, we were off to the Dole Plantation. Ashley loves this place and we had never been in their maze, so we
made the stop. The maze was actually in the Guiness Book of World Records in 2001 for having the largest maze and we had
a lot of fun getting lost in it. Here's a picture of us in the maze:
We were trying to look scared...you know, like we were lost in the maze? -- That's our story and we're sticking with it...
Anyway, a couple of dole whips, a chocolate banana, and a large pineapple juice later we were on our way back home. It was
a pretty busy day (again) but we've been having fun relaxing and watching Season 1 of Arrested Development.
