We've had good luck these past two days! Yesterday we wanted to go up to the arboretum so we waited at the bus stop when
we see Warren (the guy whos family owns paradise park) and he picks us up to drive us to the park saving us a lot of time
plus a bumpy bus ride. We then went to the 'farm' area of paradise park and caught a lot of frogs! This place has been
abandoned for YEARS and consists of a few collapsed buildings and LOTS and LOTS of junk! For example...have you ever wondered
what a car looks like after it has been abandoned for over twenty years in the rainforest??

The car is completely rusted through! If anyone can name the make/model/year of this car, you win a prize!!

While searching for frogs up there, we found a crayfish crossing the path! It had rained a LOT the previous few days due to
tropical storm Kenneth so the stream flooded over and stranded this little guy (who we captured and moved to the stream):

We also found a mole cricket when we flipped up a board near the HUGE pile of cans that has collected over the years..."huge," in fact,
may be an understatement, as it is nearly as tall as we are! We'll post a picture later if we remember...

At the end of the day, we caught 6 frogs...a lot by our standards.
Today, we caught TEN frogs!! Our new record for frogs caught in one day! We were happy that we caught them all because we shipped
them off tonight. And how did we get to the airport with 55 frogs???

We rented a car!!! WOO HOO!! We finally have a little bit of freedom! We'll post pictures of our car tomorrow (it's not all that impressive...
in fact, they didn't even vacuum, wash, OR fill up the tank before we got it...)

We also went to costco today to load up on groceries as our stash was empty! We bought mostly meat (fish, fish, fish, fish, chicken, steak, etc.) because it
is the cheapest and freshest (two things that usually don't go hand-in-hand when it comes to meat). While we were out in the Hawaii Kai area, we of course, went to:
KOKONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have NEEDED to get a 'shave' ice for a VERY long time! If you can answer why it is called "shave ice" instead of "shavED ice" you
can win a prize too...or if you can guess why it is called KoKonuts instead of coconuts you can win a prize...

Anyway, to sum up, it has been a very busy past two days and the next two are going to be busy as well! We'll fill you in on all the juicy details tomorrow!

Until then, sleep well!
