A very unhappy Easter egg hunt. Saturday morning everyone was in a bad mood (especially Ashley). However, we felt that we HAD to make it to Millcreek's annual easter egg hunt. Ben and Ashley got two crying children in the car and went off, got there minutes before it was supposed to start, parked in mud, and rushed the kids to the perimeter of the eggs. We told Maia that she needed to run in and grab eggs like a race and that adults were not permited to accompany them. Of course, this made our already on edge Maia freak out, especially when her on edge mother tried to make her go across the line on her own. Finally, Ashley stepped over the line, made Maia grab two eggs, and left with a screaming childe. If she would have noticed all of the other parents helping their children, maybe it would not have been such a big deal. Thirty minutes later, we were cleaning the mud out of the car and going spend the day at Kenny and Lois's.
We had a great day over at their house chatting with Casey and Jennie who had driven down for the weekend. We REALLY enjoy hanging out with our Gamin' Buddies and were sad to see them go. We also got to eat dinner with Mai, Dennis's wife. It was a pleasure seeing her again.
Easter Day was much more happy. Maia woke up and began searching for eggs! She was very excited and had a lot of fun! She also got to wear her "favorite Easter Bunny ears." On of the two Easter Bunnies even wrote her a little note, which she was very surprised about.

We had a lot of fun playing with you guys too!!! we were really sad to go too :( I am sorry that Maia didn't have fun at the Easter egg hunt :(. How are you feeling Ashley? I hope a lot better!
