Ah, friday...the end of the week--or is it? Ashley doesn't get a full weekend, as she works Saturday. She has another birthday party to supervise.




Today, Ashley went to work at the Zoo with the Pre-Vacation Adventures program and Ben stayed at home and programmed all day. Ashley got to do her favorite 'encounter' today: Feeding the giraffes! They eat right out of the palm of your hand! 'Encounter's are where the kids in the pre vacation adventures program get to go and get an
up-close, behind the scenes interaction with the animals. They do things like: Feeding tortoises, seeing the sleeping quarters of different animals, feeding elephants, hiding fruit for the chimpanzee's to find, etc. In today's encounter, wer're not sure who had more fun, Ashley or the kids! The giraffe gets up close to you, and it's really cool!




After work, we lounged around the house and watched a couple of episodes of "band of brothers." Tomorrow, it's more work and some much needed cleaning--Ashley's sister is coming in LESS THAN A WEEK!!! Well, we hope you all sleep well!
