Today we got up and went to the zoo because Ashley had to work all day. She dreaded going to work but was happy because she got $40 and 2 4-leaf clovers as tips. In the meantime, Ben and Stacy had a day filled with fun.

First, they scoped out some of the animals at the zoo. Stacy's favorite was the siamang, Mehina but she calls her 'Henry.' Ben was excited because the hyena's were still awake. They also got to watch the chimps eat for half an hour. They were very close to one
named Annie.

They also saw a cool 'secretary bird,' seen below:

Here is a picture of 'henry'

After the zoo, those crazy kids went shopping. They went to the Ward Center and Ala Moana Shopping Mall. They didn't buy anything, although, they claim to have been entertained by some dancers in funny looking costumes. Then, they went to see some historical sights. The saw the King Kamehameha statue and
the Queen's Palace from the outside. (We plan to go inside on a later date). Finally, they went home to let Ben take a much needed nap.

After what seemed like forever, Ben picked Ashley up from work. She showered while Ben and Stacy made a fantastic meal of ahi, rice, and veggies. Then we were off again! We went to Ko Olina, which is the best place to see sunsets (or so we think). It was beautiful as you can see from the pictures below. We also found many itty bitty shells, looked at
sting rays and sharks, tried to find geckos and crabs, and snuck out of the parking lot (they were trying to charge us $15 for less than an hour).

To say the least, it was a fun-filled day and we are very exhausted. We are planning another big day for tomorrow, so...

Goodnight everybody!
