that we could share pictures of the place but they do not allow photography there! We don't really understand why
they don't allow it...there is not much actually there and the only reason we can think of is 'security' or some sort of
unexpected Hawaiian thing. Ashley really liked the doors because they had etched crystal in place of glass! Ben and Stacy
really liked the disappearing shutters that go into the wall. It was especially cool for all of us because none of us had
ever seen a palace before. One really interesting fact we learned was that the Royal Hawaiian Palace had electricity BEFORE
the white house did!
After our tour, Stacy and Ashley went to work together at the zoo! Stacy learned a lot about the animals from Ashley and got
to hear the lions, hyenas, and tiger. Ashley just thought it was nice to have her as company.
After work, we all drove to the southeast end of the island to look at the moon since it was a full moon tonight. Ben tried
to take pictures of it, but the best he could do is posted below:
