Yesterday we didn't do anything productive, so we thought we'd spare you the boring details. Today we didn't do much either,
but we were able to burn some calories by walking 6.6 miles to the arboretum and back to do some research work. We didn't do
much other than that as we were pretty tired after doing this. We know it was 6.6 miles because we measured the distance a couple
of weeks ago when we still had our car because we were trying to see who worked farther away: Ben or Ashley. It turns out that we both
work approximately the same distance away.




Anyway, other than burning lots of calories, we didn't do a bunch today...still no word from the police about our beloved car...from the
sound of it, you'd think that they would find it quickly as this is a very small island but it'll probably be a while because:




They have to pull over a car for another crime such as speeding and then punch in the plates to see if it has been reported stolen (if you were a smart criminal, you would
swap license plates with another car that matches the description and be home free...). Anyway, this won't happen here as we've only seen 2 or 3 cars actually get pulled over
here...




Or, somebody has to report the car as abandoned and teh tow company will check the VIN when they tow it and find that it was reported stolen. This probably won't happen as people
can't get cars towed here from what the landlord told me, even if they are parked in the 'no parking' zone. This seems weird because it only took 20 minutes for our car to get towed...
of course, we were 'obstructing traffic' so maybe the thiefs will abandon our car in the MIDDLE of the street rather than in a parking spot...if we're lucky, that is...
