Well, today was another great day in Hawai'i! We went to costco as we really needed some groceries and they seem to be cheaper than everybody else by a significant margin (>50%).
Getting there was a bit of a problem, however, as either:




a) the people here are really lacking driving talent, or,


b) we have lost a large chunk of our driving abilities...




We were nearly in 2 traffic accidents going to and from costco! This seems to be a common occurance, too! Perhaps it is us...who knows?




Anyway, after that we went to CompUSA to buy a memory card for the camera as the one we have died today. The wait there was crazy! The lady in front of us had never heard of a rechargeable battery!!! We have no idea why the memory cards were behind the counter as they are not too expensive, but anyway,
we bought it and were on our way...on the way out, the guy at the door rather rudely said, "Sir, I need to see your receipt!" As if we were stealing it...now, why would we go out of our way to steal the memory card IN PACKAGE, place it in a COMPUSA bag, print a fake receipt then walk out? How would we get the stuff
to make this stuff anyway??
