So we survived yet another day, believe it or not. It rained (again) today and Ben finally got started on his research. We also got car insurance and we think we've learned how to properly say "Hawaii!" The mosquito bite count is approaching record highs as we each received at least 10 more last night (bringing Ashley's running count to 46 and that's only on her legs!!!) Ben, on the other hand, is too afraid to count but estimates are near 40 bites. However, there is hope! We received a few replies to our plea for help (particularly from Ben's cousin Aubrey who was studying for a test related to this very subject) and got some inside "local" tips on prevention that we're hoping to try tonight so we'll see how it goes...We are writing this at 8:00 and are actually tired as we hiked a lot so today's entry will be short...and it seems without a picture.
