We're going to make this a short entry tonight because we've already put in a FULL day of work (even by Utah standards). We've actually been working full days every day this week and will continue to work this way throughout Sunday at the zoo and at research.
We woke up early today and went to the arboretum and collected food for the frogs and looked for some more frogs. We then came back and measured tadpoles (we now have 102). Then we went to the store to pick up some much needed supplies and then up to the arboretum
to collect our frogs which we labeled and packaged for shippping...all 32 of them. Then we dropped them off at the airport to ship them to Utah for Ben's research.




So, we basically worked 9-7 today...10 hours!!! And you thought we were on vacation! We are both nervous that our frogs are shipped and we hope they are OK and we feel sad that we took them out of their natural habitat. We are, however, happy that they are going
to a good home for a good cause and that they will soon be out of their box! One of the reasons that we have so many tadpoles (other than research) is that we will raise them up and eventually release them back into the wild. We are doing this in our home because the tadpoles
have a very high mortality rate and we want to try to replace the ones we are taking out of the wild. Sorry for all the frog talk, but that's our life.




We also got some tips from locals today on some good hikes and we'll hopefully have some pictures to post in the future.
